QUESTION:
I downloaded and
installed the Free DIPUM Toolbox, but now when I type help followed by the
function name, I don't get instructions on how to use the functions.
Why?
ANSWER:
The Free DIPUM
Toolbox is compiled in p-code. This means that on-line help is not
available, and the code cannot be seen or modified. The free DIPUM Toolbox
is intended for use by owners of the book Digital Image Processing Using
MATLAB, which has a listing and explanation of every function in the
Toolbox.
It is possible to
purchase the full code (called the Registered DIPUM Toolbox) which can be
seen and modified, and has on-line help. Click
